October

We have been very busy in Room 15 this month. We began by going on a nautre walk in the convent garden. We are doing a tree study on the horsechestnut tree and the other animals and insects that live in the habitat. We will visit the tree once each season beginning with autumn. We also learned how to recognise other trees by looking at the shape of the leaves and the fruit that grows on it.

We went on our school walk this month too. We walked around Corcagh Park and then wewent to the playground. It was great fun

On the day of the midterm break we had our recycling fashion show. We all had to make a Halloween costume using recycled materials. Room 15 made masks from used mik cartons. We cut the milk cartons into a mask shape and then we painted them using acrylic paint. All the classes walked down the catwalk to show the rest of the school what they had made.
